Esperienza

Dal 2016 si occupa di consulenza in materia di brevetti, in particolare nel campo della chimica farmaceutica e della biotecnologia. È consulente tecnico d’ufficio per il Tribunale di Bologna.

È membro del Team Life Science and Chemistry SIB, un gruppo multidisciplinare di esperti nella stesura, deposito e prosecuzione di domande di brevetto afferenti alle tecnologie emergenti nel campo della chimica, della biologia, della medicina e delle biotecnologie, comprese piattaforme nanotecnologiche.

Attività principali

Procedure brevettuali italiane, europee e di altri paesi esteri in campo chimico, chimico-farmaceutico e biotecnologico.

Attività associativa

Membro dell’Ordine dei Consulenti in Proprietà Industriale, dell’Istituto dei Mandatari Accreditati presso l’Ufficio Brevetti Europeo, di AIPLA (Co-chair Intellectual Property Practice in Europe Committee) e dell’Ordine dei Farmacisti.

Experience

Sofia has been practising patent law since 2016, focusing in particular on chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry and biotechnology. She is enrolled with the Register of Court-Appointed Experts on Industrial Property of the Court of Bologna.

She is a member of the SIB Life Science and Chemistry Team, a multidisciplinary group of experts in the drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications relating to emerging technologies in the fields of chemistry, biology, medicine and biotechnology, including nanotechnological platforms.

Italian and European patents in the fields of pharmaceutical chemistry and biotechnology.
