Saranno consegnati il 30 novembre a Milano i tre Premi DesignEuropa  per l’eccellenza nel design e nella sua gestione come diritto di proprietà intellettuale.

Lanciati quest’anno dall’EUIPO, ufficio che gestisce la registrazione dei design comunitari, i Premi DesignEuropa nascono per dare rilievo alla registrazione del design a livello europeo come passaggio dalla progettazione alla produzione, dall’idea alla risorsa aziendale.

Soltanto il vincitore del Premio alla carriera è già noto: si tratta del designer italiano Giorgetto Giugiaro.

Saranno svelati invece soltanto durante la cerimonia, alla presenza di tutti i finalisti, i vincitori degli altri due premi: il Premio all’industria, per design registrati da imprese con oltre 50 e oltre 10 milioni di euro di fatturato/bilancio totale, e del Premio per imprese piccole emergenti, dedicato ai design registrati da imprese con un fatturato e numero di dipendenti inferiore, oppure da imprese costituite dal 1 gennaio 2013.

[:en]On 30 November in Milan, excellence in design and in the management of design as an intellectual property rights will be celebrated by the DesignEuropa Awards ceremony.

The DesignEuropa awards were launched this year by the EUIPO, the office that manages the registration of Community designs, to highlight the importance of registering designs across the European Union as a passage from project to production, from idea to company asset.

Only the winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award has already been announced as the Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro.

During the ceremony, in the presence of all finalists, the winners will be announced in the two remaining categories: the Industry Award – for designs owned by companies with over 50 employees and €10 million in turnover-  and of the Small and Emerging Company Award – for designs owned by companies which comply with less than 50 employees or less than €10 million in turnover, or established as from 1 January 2013.
