[:it]Siamo orgogliosi ed entusiasti di ospitare anche quest’anno l’evento italiano dell’iniziativa Women in IP Global Networking Event 2021.

Organizzato dal Women in IP Law Subcommittee della American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), l’incontro Women in IP Networking Event si svolge in contemporanea in tutto il mondo: una giornata unica di incontro e condivisione internazionale fra donne professioniste della proprietà intellettuale.

Il programma di quest’anno inizierà con una sessione di benvenuto a cura dell’AIPLA, cui seguiranno gli eventi locali con la possibilità di partecipare a gruppi di discussione.

Il tema generale dell’evento è l’equilibrio fra matrimonio, genitorialità e lavoro. Cercare un equilibrio fra famiglia e carriera è spesso una sfida, ma non esistono soluzioni univoche. Tutte le persone che hanno dovuto conciliare queste priorità sono state costrette a numerosi compromessi e sacrifici. E’ importante dare priorità a ciò che è più importante per noi a livello personale.

L’evento italiano avrà luogo su Zoom il 4 maggio 2021 alle 16.

Alcune professioniste d’eccezione condivideranno le proprie esperienze in una sessione plenaria, dedicata al tema dell’equilibrio fra vita privata e carriere e delle difficoltà e opportunità connesse.

Di seguito nelle stanze break-out parallele saranno discussi i seguenti sotto-temi:

1. Le abilità professionali o competenze trasversali acquisite o migliorate tramite la genitorialità.
2. La gestione della famiglia al tempo dello smartworking/Covid19 ed eventuali diseguaglianze fra genitori.
3. La conciliazione di lavoro e famiglia nei diversi momenti della carriera.
4. Esempi pratici di compromessi e scelte affrontate nella conciliazione di lavoro e famiglia.

We are proud and excited to be hosting, once again, the Italian event of the 2021 worldwide AIPLA Women in IP Global Networking Event.

Organised by the Women IP Law Subcommittee of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), the Women in IP Networking Event is a unique and memorable moment bringing together women worldwide who are intellectual property practitioners or whose business it is to be involved with intellectual property issues.

This year’s edition will start with a welcome session by AIPLA and will then continue separately with the local events and breakout groups. The general theme for this edition is balancing marriage, parenthood and work. Trying to balance family and career is often a challenge, but there is not one right way to do it. Anyone juggling these priorities will be forced to make many compromises and sacrifices; it is important that we prioritize the things that are most important to us personally. 

The Italian event is happening on Zoom on May 4, 2021 at 4:00 pm CEST (10:00 am EST).

Outstanding women professionals will share their experiences in a plenary session, whose leading theme will be the balance of private life and career and the associated difficulties/opportunities.

Specific sub-topics will be discussed in parallel break-out rooms, with reference to:

1. Professional or soft skills acquired/improved with the experience of parenthood.
2. Family management at the time of smartworking/Covid19 and possible inequalities between the parents.
3. Work-family balance at different career stages.
4. Practical examples of compromises and choices faced in managing work and family.
